Iran News Agency - Green Movement supporters from Ahvaz moved from Salman Farsi (Naderi) Street toward Abadan crossroads, from Azam Hosseynia, on Taleqani Avenue as chants of “Death To Dictator” filled the air. Fearing the expansion of demonstrations, Behbahani street has been completely blocked by special riot police forces.
There are also armed forces stationed on roofs of banks on Naderi Street. Reports also indicate clashes and that car tires have been set on fire in Ahvaz’s Sheikh Bahayi Street. The regime forces also used tear gas and pepper spray to disperse pthe crowd. Clashes continued along streets leading to Ahavaz’s Naderi Street.
