Campaign number 2:

Ask the governments to cut their diplomatic relations with Iran until the Iranian government stops all execution sentences.

In recent days the Iranian government has increased the number of death sentences and the accusations that could lead to a death penalty. Several Iranian officials have asked for more executions to “teach a lesson “ to the protesters. This is a dangerous trend that can lead to a massacre similar to that of summer 1988.
We have seen in the past 31 years that the Iranian government does not care at all about the condemnations. Only actions can change Iran’s behavior. Therefore we want to ask all the governments and the United Nations to immediately cut their diplomatic relations with Iran until Iran stops the executions. We ask the United Nations to expel Iran from the UN until Iran agrees to abide by the international laws and stops all the executions.
Please join this campaign. Call one or more of the following. .Explain the human rights situation in Iran. Tell them 67 political prisoners are in the death row and many more can join them. Tell them that Iran cannot care less for the international treaties and the only way to stop Iran’s killing machine is to halt all diplomatic relations. The ambassador should be summoned from Tehran and should be sent back only when Iran has agreed to stop all the execution orders.
