Forces Transferred to Tehran for 22 Bahman

According to reports, ground force units across the country have been ordered to take preliminary measures for the deployment of their troops to Tehran.

Iran News Agency: On February 8, 2010 at 11:30pm, news was received that a military column including 30-35 military vehicles carrying oppressive forces moved from Azadi Square to the central part of Tehran.

The forces have been transferred to Tehran by the government in preparation for 22 Bahman (Feberuary 11 – the anniversary of the Islamic Republic Revolution).

The regime is attempting to transfer its forces from all across the country to Tehran. It has been confirmed that from each Basiji base, at least one bus will be sent to Tehran.

Cities surrounding Tehran are under greater obligation to send the maximum forces to Tehran. The government is attempting to maintain full control of main avenues and squares leading to the area where Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will be speaking.
