Jaras - Security forces arrested Amir Sadeghi at the office of Farhang-e-Ashti newspaper for having published images of the violent security clampdown on protesters on Ashura (December 27, 2009) on his personal blog (tehranlive.org) and on the website Tehran24.com.
In the days leading to 22 Bahman (February 11- the anniversary of the Islamic Republic Revolution), many journalists have been arrested across Iran.
