Iran Human Rights, January 7. 2010: According to several reports from Iran, a Kurdish political prisoner identified as Safih Yasamani, was hanged in the prison of Khoi (north-western Iran) yesterday morning.

According to these reports he was convicted of Moharebeh (at war with the God) and connection with a Kurdish opposition group Pjak. However, the Kurdish political party PJAK has denied Mr. Yasamani’s membership in this group.
