Saeed Kalanaki an old colleague of committee of human rights reporters and political rights, in past few years repeatedly summoned by the security institutions and was threatened for not stopping his activities. Saeed Jalalifar other active member and committee member of the “population to defend street children” in the field of children’s right has had continuous activities. This former physics student of University of Zanjan, following a protest desecration of a female student by Hassan Madadi, deputy student at the University, summoned by the security institutions and for pursuing this claim was expelled from the University. After recent presidential election, this committee has had a significant role on reflecting and publishing reports on the status of detainees & those who were killed during this period. Therefore, pressure of security institutions on committee members during recent months has been growing. Shiva Nazarahari, a well known member of the committee was arrested on 14th of June 2009 by security agents at her work place and has been detained for more than 100 days in Evin prison. He must introduce himself to the follow up information office at Ministry of Information On Thursday 3rd of December. Kouhyar Goodarzi, Former Secretary of the Comittee Tuesday, 2nd November 2009 was dismissed from Sharif University of technology with the pressure of security institutions.

Although arrest and increasing pressure on civil rights activists and defenders in a society with totalitarian and authoritarian has became natural, but should not forget that not protesting against these circumstance from the civil society will weaken the freedoms of citizens and will reduce the scope of legitimate minimal activity within the framework of law.

Committee of Human Rights reporters said the two recent arrests, is an active beginning of a new security attacks and repression continues to prevent and stop the activities of this agency. Saeed Kalanaki and saeed jalalifar in line of practice their own legal rights, the free expressions of ideas were arrested, and hence are considered political prisoners.
